Welcome to Form 1
Form 1 is a class for students who are developing skills for supported living. We follow a functional curriculum focussing on the essential skills and build upon them to succeed and develop independence where possible. We use Skills Builder, which is a framework which helps young people to develop essential life skills for success in the 21st century.
We will be getting out and about in the community to explore the different facilities we have around us. We will be practising life skills, such as handling money, communicating with facility staff and looking at safety rules to follow when out in the community.
Life skills is at the heart of our curriculum and we will be exploring different opportunities, that can promote these skills, develop news and prepare them for life when they leave Woolston 6th Form.
