Tracy Addison

My name is Tracy Addison and I’m an Into Adulthood Link Worker, as voted for by Woolston 6th Form students.

My role is pretty new, and since November 2023 I have been gradually getting to know staff and students in the 6th Form predominantly and have introduced myself to the Senior Leadership Teams for both Foxwood School and Green Lane School.

I work closely with the Preparation for Adulthood Team within Adult’s Social Care and I am based with the Business Development Team for Adult’s Social care.

Prior to my current role, I have spent 19 years in Children’s Social Care working with children, young people and their families in various teams but the more recent being the Leaving Care Service working predominantly with 17-25 year olds.

One of my main goals is to improve the transition from children’s services/education into adult services/social care.

Currently, I am based at Woolston 6th Form 2 days per week term time where I am spending time in the classrooms, making my face familiar and building some lovely relationships with the students and staff
